Why it is bundled rather than itemised
When support is billed by the hour, every party has the wrong incentive. You delay calling because a call costs money, small faults grow into outages, and the provider earns most in the months your systems behave worst.
A flat fee inverts that. Nobody hesitates to raise a ticket, and the provider only makes money by making the environment boring. That is the entire argument for managed services, and it is why the services below are sold as one thing.
The exception is co-managed IT, which is a genuinely different arrangement rather than a cut down version of the same one.
