What is frequently missed is confirming the second circuit follows a genuinely different physical path. Two services from two carriers can share the same duct, in which case you have paid twice for one point of failure.

Why does warehouse wireless behave so differently here?
Because the buildings are hostile to it in ways an office is not. Steel racking reflects signal, coverage changes as stock levels change, and forklift mounted devices roam constantly between access points. Equipment specified for an office and mounted wherever cabling was convenient produces exactly the dropouts most operations describe. It is a design and survey problem far more often than a hardware problem.
We run around the clock. When does maintenance happen?
Around your operation rather than around a standard window, because you do not have one. In practice that means changes staged during the quietest shift, systems updated in rotation rather than together, and anything touching the warehouse management system done with the vendor reachable and a rollback ready. Monitoring and critical response run continuously regardless of shift.
Kent and Auburn are outside Pierce County. Does that matter?
Not operationally. The Kent Valley is inside the same working radius and the corridor functions as one industrial economy with Fife, Sumner and the Port of Tacoma. What does occasionally matter is that businesses operating sites on both sides of the county line deal with two sets of local requirements, which is worth knowing when planning a second location.
